Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native who was born in Houston on the 17th of April, 1972. William John Garner worked as an chemist at Union Carbide. The mother of her Patricia Ann taught at a local university. She graduated with a chemical engineering degree to follow her father. However, because she wanted to pursue her dream as an actress, she moved into New York to try her chances in the film industry. In addition to appearing in Broadway shows, she also was a waitress at an adjacent restaurant. Garner was a guest role on the television series "Felicity."
