Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish was born on 7 August 1982 in the Australian state of Victoria and is an actor. Cornish is most well-known for her film roles as Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her work with filmmaker Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). The latter movie Cornish was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many other movies is her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents were incredibly supportive as they encouraged her become an actress. Fordham College was her first selection when it came time to attend college. In Fordham she developed her skills. After graduation Gilpin started acting in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for TV and film roles. Gilpin was cast as NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001-2011, and later small part of Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin gained a lot of TV experience in the following times, mostly in appearances in guest roles. Her first breakthrough with Nurse Jackie's regular role on the year 2013. In the role of the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes of the series before Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June of 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the thriller mystery True Story (2015).
